Secratary Report:

20th November 2012

Dear members,

I feel greatly honored to be elected as President of IASSTD & AIDS and am grateful to all the members of the association for choosing me to head the association for the year 2012-13.

It shall be my endeavor to work earnestly and diligently for improvement of the association and the specialty. We have two major tasks seeking immediate attention-The Public Private Partnership with NACO as well as the IUSTI collaboration programme. It shall be my endeavor to facilitate these partnerships to give our association a larger role as well as a global footprint.

I seek the active participation and cooperation of the EC and all members of the association to carry out useful public and educational activity related to the specialty. These activities must be highlighted to enhance the public visibility of our association so that our collective efforts help IASSTD & AIDS grow to its full potential.

With best wishes and greetings,
Nitin Walia
